The New Intelligent Heater Tubes (IHT) are almost identical to the well-known standard Alcor heater tubes. The IHT now has a built-in RFID chip offering following new advantages:
- Storage of test results (tube rating) and all JFTOT test parameters directly on the Intelligent Heater Tube
- 100% traceability of test data and minimize risk on data transcription errors
- Accidental re-use of heater tubes is eliminated
- Compatible with Alcor’s JFTOT models II, III, IV and the new OptiReader Ellipsometric tube rater
- In full compliance with ASTM D3241 and IP 323

Jet fuel thermal oxidation tests (JFTOT) are critical for determining the quality of jet fuels. With a critical test like JFTOT it is crucial to have testing materials meeting strict dimensions and composition controls. The IHT is a revolutionary step in traceability and security for jet fuel testing. The IHT securely stores the important data associated with jet fuel thermal oxidation test in a small Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) device permanently mounted on the end of an Alcor Heater Tube. This keeps tube and results data together inseparably, facilitating traceability, simplicity, and ensuring accuracy.

INTRODUCING DETAILED TRACEABILITY OF JFTOT TEST RESULTS AND EASY DATA ACCESS
The Alcor Intelligent Heater Tube is the only heater tube on the market that can electronically store all the important data from your JFTOT instruments directly onto the heater tube, reducing translation errors. Test parameter such as temperature, flow, test duration, differential pressure, used sample volume, etc. are stored on the IHT as well.
With the IHT Reader-Writer, a unique electronic identification device, the IHT allows detailed traceability of tests and easy access to stored data.
